Merle Reed Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle Reed (Friendly, West Virginia), who passed away on April 4, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Hess and Garnet Irene Broughman Hess; her husband Laymon Reed; her sons, Alden and Roger Reed; and her brothers, Harold, Carl, Bill and Denzil Hess.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Chapman of Wilmington, NC and Lois McPeck (Mike) of Philo, OH; and her sister Helen Bolen of Sistersville, WV. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
