He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Parsons and Mildred Kidder Parsons; his wife Sylvia Parsons; his siblings, Gene Parsons, Glen Parsons, Edward Parsons, Twyla Lamp, Lula Bell Elder, Phyllis Dent and Faith Parsons; and his grandson Nick Parsons.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Parsons (Connie), Rob Parsons (Celeste) and Becky Westbrook (Greg); his stepsons, Mike Higgins (Karla) and John Higgins (Betty); his siblings, Bill Parsons (Bonnie) and Sylvia Gainer; and his brother-in-law Creal Lamp. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
