She was predeceased by: her parents, David Cowgill and Ethel Cowgill (Thorn); her husband Roger Lee Deaton; and her brother Gerald Cowgill. She is survived by: her siblings, Adrian Cowgill (Betty) of Friendly, WV and Martha Buck of The Villages, FL; and her children, Chris Deaton (Betty) of Sistersville, WV, Pam Buck (Greg) of Centreville, AL, Brad Deaton (Deanna) of Belpre, OH, Joan Adkins of New Martinsville, WV, Matt Deaton (Thelma) of Friendly, WV and Stacy Boice of Friendly, WV. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
