He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Clayton and Opal Gulley Clayton Weekley; his wife Elizabeth "Peach" Clayton; and his brothers, Robert Clayton and Lawrence Clayton, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Northcraft (David) of Friendly, WV, Beth Costa (Tony) of Onsted, MI and Kristy Banta (Ryan) of Friendly, WV; and his siblings, Freda Rice and Homer Clayton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
