He is survived by: his wife Penny Robinson Bowie; his daughters, Kelly Hearn (Mike), Missy Bowie Taylor (Chris Noland) and Rita Cotton (Bill); his grandchildren, Chelsea Jewell (Michael), Mikayla Hearn, Marly Roberts (Anthony), Louis Charles "Bub" Taylor, Ashley Cotton and Addison Cotton; his great grandchildren, Avery Jewell, Layne Roberts and Eli Jewell; his siblings, Jim Bowie (Jeannette), Gene Bowie (Eleanor), Carol Hysell and Joan Smith (Doug); and his sisters-in-law, Pat Bowie and Claudette Bowie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
