He was predeceased by: his parents, Warder Cooper and Margie Collett Cooper; his son Stephen Gregory; and his brothers, Paul, Darrell, Curtis and Neal.
He is survived by: his wife Wilda Jacqulyn Coberly Cooper; and his children, Sterling Glenn Cooper (Donna) of French Creek, Allan Lane Cooper (Georgina Turman) of Bedford, Virginia, Suzanne Renée (Albert Cooke) of Glen Burnie and Kimberly Michelle (Rick Strevel) of Culpeper, VA. He is also survived by five grandchildren and their spouses; seven step grandchildren and their spouses and 18 great grandchildren.
