She was predeceased by: her parents, John Benton and Ollie Roverta Young McLaughlin; and her siblings, James Ernest McLaughlin and Maxine Cutright. She is survived by: her son Roger L. (Katherine Hefner) of Summerville, SC; her grandchildren, Brian S. (Pamela Hefner) of Atlanta, GA and Julie Hefner-Ferrell (Robbie) of Charleston, WV; her stepgrandson Timothy Adam Hardy of Atlanta, GA; her great grandchildren, Sofia, Samantha and Sonia Hefner; her stepgreat-granddaughter Aubrey Magpantay; and her sister Barbara (George Dawson) of French Creek. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
