He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd B. "Dave" Tenney, Sr. and Nora Mae Daniels Tenney; his great grandchildren, Brooke Anne Tiffner and Alfie Tenney; his children-in-law, Dennis Cogar, Johnny Perrine and Mary Sue Tenney; and his siblings, Denver Tenney, Arnold Tenney, Sr., Verla Pritt, Zelma Tenney, Letha Bacorn and Lora Bernice Lightner.
He is survived by: his spouse Mamie Ellen Sponaugle Tenney; and his children, Robert Tenney, Jr. (Julia, Edd W.) of French Creek, Matthew L. Tenney (Angela) of French Creek, Connie E. Tenney (Ted) of Ellamore, WV, Mamie Virginia "Ginger" Tenney of French Creek and Nettie Mae Allen (James) of French Creek. He is also survived by two grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three brothers.
