She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoy W. Wilfong and Wilda R. Gillum Wilfong; her husband William D. Smith; and her siblings, James Edward Wilfong, Charles Richard Wilfong, Hoy Junior Wilfong, Marie Murphy, Irene Wilfong, Maxine Wilfong, Arnetta Chance, Annetta Powers and Linda Lea Wilfong.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Smith Dawson (Bruce) of Buckhannon and Rodney D. Smith (Trena) of French Creek; her grandchildren, Joshua Smith of French Creek, Ashley Smith of French Creek, Joleen Dawson of Clarksburg, Daniel "Danny" Dawson of Buckhannon, Kaylee Smith of French Creek, Levi Hatfield of French Creek and Brynlee Hatfield of French Creek; her sisters, Madeline Barrett (James) of Mauk, GA, Loverna Campbell (Benny) of Stonewood and Jean Corbin of St. Petersburg, FL; her brother-in-law George A. Smith of Buckhannon; and her close friends, John, Katy Butcher, Karen Belt and Sharon Bennett. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
