She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Carpenter and Luella Carpenter (Hunt); her husband William F. "Bill" Stockert; and her siblings, Opal "Red" Page of Virginia, Avis Cowger, Hugh, Olen, Doyle and Willard Carpenter.
She is survived by: her brother Hubert Carpenter of North Carolina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
