He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Hawkins and Lola Ruth Gillum Hawkins; his sister Mamie Carpenter; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Hawkins, Deloris Bryant, Christa Woodson, Carl Woody, Forrest Eugene Woodson, Elmer Woodson, Jerry Woodson, Ab Woodson and Bryan Harper.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Hawkins (Bob Gilmore) of Morgantown, Tina Bailey (Danny) of French Creek and Terry Hawkins of Selbyville; his grandchildren, Morgan Bailey, Kaden, Clay Hawkins, Lexie Heatherly and Austin Osburn; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Noah Farnsworth and Luca Osburn; his siblings, Joseph Hawkins of French Creek, Thelma Woody of Selbyville, Charlotte Leichliter (Gary) of French Creek and Mavis Shiflett (James) of Buckhannon; and his siblings-in-law, Otto Carpenter of French Creek, Edgar Bryant of French Creek, Opal Woodson of Selbyville, Carla Harper of Buckhannon and Tammy Ford (Michael) of Stonewood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
