He was predeceased by: his father James Jr. Shorden. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Shorden and Jonathan Shorden; and his siblings, Sherry Owen, Mary Ann Clayborne, Janet Shorden, Donna Grant, Tracy Johnson, Stacy Hatfield, James "Buddy" Shorden III and Stewart Shorden. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
