She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sterling Hollen, Sr. and Gladys Irene Pierce Hollen; and her siblings, Doris Crawford and Richard Lee Hollen. She is survived by: her son Richard D. Gillespie (Debra); her siblings, Betty Booth (Richard), Joyce Hoover (Patrick) and James S. "Pete" Hollen, Jr. (Kay); her grandson Ryan Gillespie (Julia) of Morgantown, WV; and her great grandchild Ryleigh Gillespie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grant Memorial Hospice or the American Cancer Society (Relay for Life).
