He is survived by: his mother Alice Rettie Johnson (Hedrick) of Franklin, WV; his daughters, Ashley Michelle Johnson of Franklin, WV and Rachel Nicole Johnson of Maysville, WV; his grandchildren, Cole and Leah Puffenbarger; his sister Linda Owen of Elkton, VA; his nieces, Andrea Reel (Brandon) and Staci Owen (Chad); and his nephew Loren Owen (Heather).
