He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wilburn Mitchell and Macie Lee Mitchell (Armentrout); his sister Thelma Smith; and his brother-in-law Carroll Smith. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Gail Mitchell (Hartman); and his brother Ralph Mitchell (Sue) of Upper Tract.
