He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Steele and Margaret Steele; and his sisters, Rita Robinson and Sandy Wagers. He is survived by: his spouse Fay Steele (Brown); his children, Anna Steele (Charlie Hammer) of Harrisonburg, VA, Loren Steele of San Francisco, CA, Joshua Steele of Richmond, VA and Anthony Steele of Franklin, WV; his siblings, Lora Harter of Indianapolis, IN, Tony Steele of Bowling Green, KY, Tim Steele (Teresa) of Jacksonville, FL and Jon Steele (Kelly) of Tampa, FL; and his granddaughter Lilyfae Hammer.
