She was predeceased by: her parents, Alston "Mose" Eye and Marvel Eye (Simmons); her husband Orlando Wimer, Sr.; the father of her children Orlando Wimer, Sr.; her son Orlando Shay Wimer, Jr.; and her siblings, Virginia Case, Dessie Horner, Arvil Phares, Woodrow Phares, Wilson Phares, Dick Phares, Loye Phares, Allen Eye and Daniel Eye.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Lynn Nelson (Shannon) of Grottoes, VA and Tim Wimer (Linda) of Franklin, WV; her siblings, Ann Hartman of Franklin, WV and Sterling Harold Phares of Florida; and her grandchildren, Brandon Wimer, David Wimer, Allison Darko, Martina Malack, Tylen Wimer and Devin Wimer. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to any Pendleton County Volunteer Rescue Squad.
