She was predeceased by: her parents, Joy Trantham and Anna Newby (Stump); and her husband Everette Eugene "Gene" Waldschlager. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Evick (Billy) of Franklin, WV, Mark Dehlin (Crystal) of Charlotte, NC and Glenn Waldschlager (Cheryl) of Virginia Beach, VA; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Steven, Megan, MaCee, Hannah, Michael, KaLee, Gage and Caira; her great grandchildren, AnnaLyse, Ella, Evylia, Aubrey and Myles; her brother T. Ken Trantham (Phyllis) of Tuscon, AZ; and her half-siblings, Ralph Newby (Margaret) and Dixie Bassuener (David).
In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Joyce's wishes, the family requests that donations be made in Joyce's honor to Pendleton Manor for interior decorations to create a homelike environment for the residents.
