It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Byron Wheeler Sr. (Franklin, West Virginia), born in Bragg City, Missouri, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Clyde Wheeler and Vivian Gregory Wheeler. He is survived by: his children, Joyce Ellen Ball (Timothy) of Singers Glen, VA and James Byron Wheeler, Jr. (Linda Herr) of Akron, PA; his siblings, Virginia, Camilla, Jerry and J. C.; his grandchildren, Jaeson Wheeler-Hussey, Ryan Benjamin Orebaugh, Aaron Ross Orebaugh, Alice Vivian Wheeler, Mary Ona Wheeler and Joseph James Wheeler; and his great grandchildren, Reese Orebaugh and Cole Orebaugh.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
