He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Krauss Montaigne and Howard Rayfield Montaigne, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Jessica Rae Bland (Donald) of California, Lydia Maria Montaigne of Florida and Douglas Rayfield Montaigne (Sharena) of Sugar Grove, WV; and his sister Louise Compton of North Carolina. He is also survived by 2 granddaughters; and 2 great-grandchildren.
