It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geneva Wright of Franklin, West Virginia, who passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cameron Gilbert and Gladys Gertrude Moats (Strother); her husband George Richard Welton Wright; her daughter Valerie Moats; her siblings, Floyd, Eldon, Roscoe, Loretha, Ruby and Blanche; her grandson Brock; and her great grandchild Malakai.
She is survived by: her children, Anita Moats of Franklin, WV and Reginald "Bo" Moats (Sherry) of Harrisonburg, VA; her siblings, Clara Mae Johnson of Staunton, VA, Otis Moats (Patty) of Staunton, VA, Clarence Moats of Franklin, WV, Charles Whitney Moats (Faye) of Franklin, WV and Hank Moats of Bridgewater, VA; and her grandchildren, Damien, Demane, Margaret "Muffy", Sabrina, Tiesha of Ryan, Bridgette, Alexis, Isaiah and Darrin. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
