He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Glenn and Nola Rebecca Harper (Bland). He is survived by: his wife Anita Harper (Knight); his stepchildren, Betty Jo Tingler (Travis) of Franklin, WV, Carrie Lynn Southerly of Hinton, VA and Wayne Allen Southerly of Bridgewater, VA; his sisters, Madeline Warner Tusing of Dayton, VA and Kitty Harper Simmons (Jerry) of Bridgewater, VA; and his foster sister Nora Riggleman (Stark Puffenbarger) of Mt. Crawford, VA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
