It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Mae Waybright of Franklin, West Virginia, born in Spotsylvania, Virginia, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Ryder and Gussie Ryder (Leake); her former husband James M. Reid; her grandson James Trevor Reid; and her siblings, Phyllis Wheeler, Joyce Payne, Mary Loving, Dorothy Leake, Clifton Ryder, Arthur Ryder and Rebecca Riley.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Waybright Sr. of Franklin; her children, Tammy Simmons (Butch) of Spotsylvania, Nancy Foley (Michael) of Spotsylvania, John Reid Sr. (Tammy) of Spotsylvania and Conway Reid (Kim) of Spotsylvania; her stepsons, Michael Waybright Jr. of Luray, Eric Waybright (Wendie Eppard) of Shenandoah and Adam Waybright of Edinburg; her brothers, David and Glenn Ryder of Spotsylvania; her grandchildren, Wesley of Toni, C. J., Jamie, Loren, Drew, Regan, Lanie, Trent and Emmerson; and her great grandchildren, Marlee, Wyatt, Madi, Tucker, Hazel, Audrey, Ty, Libby, Charlie, Tate and Harry.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church (300 White Oak Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22405). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Blue Grass Cemetery.
