He was predeceased by: his mother Emma Lee Rymer Barkley; his stepparent Wardell Barkley; and his sisters, Patty Barkley and Carolyn Steele. He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Warner of Stafford, VA, Diana Hiner (Darrell) of Cherry Grove, WV, Kenneth Barkley (Bonnie) of Moorefield, WV and Richard Barkley (Nancy) of Circleville, WV. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
