It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Jean Landes of Franklin, West Virginia, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Isaac and Gladys Laura Hedrick (Huffman); her spouse Dale Landes; her close friend Gene "Crafty" Eye; her daughter Sheila Jean Landes; and her sister Catherine Mae Bowers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ellen Wimer (Tom) of Sugar Grove, WV and Vickie Bennett (Jimmie) of Riverton, WV; her grandchildren, Thomas, Phillip Wimer (Sara), Isaac Bennett (Kaylee) and Allison Fawley (Jacob); her great grandchildren, Forest, Henry, Cora, Genevieve Wimer, Reece and Zellie Bennett; her sister Ada Belle Huffman of Franklin, WV; and her aunt Alice Johnson of Franklin, WV. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
