He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Lester Burns and Mary Catherine Kile Burns; and his siblings, Charles, Richard, Tommy, Donald, Joseph, Carl, Paul Burns, Pauline Bennett, Mildred Higgins, Sandra Burns and Jean Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Shurline Burns; his son Terry Burns (Cheryl) of Mt. Airy, MD; and his granddaughter Cara Willis (Josh) of Finksburg, MD..
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kimble Funeral Home (80 S Main St, Franklin, WV 26807). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
