He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Aline Evick (Garber); his siblings, John A., William Frederick Evick, Norma Swadley and Etta Margaret Lambert; and his brother-in-law Elwood "Steve" Keplinger.
He is survived by: his son Fred Lawrence Evick (Donna) of Franklin, WV; his grandchildren, Sheldon Lee Evick of Franklin and Jessica Evick-Hedrick (Jon) of Franklin; his great grandchildren, Jaylynn Anne and Jaycee Mae Hedrick; his sisters, Mary Keplinger of Newark, DE and Nina "Jody" Josephine Olkowski (Ed) of Wilmington, DE; his sister-in-law Alma Mae Mallow (Paul) of Franklin, WV; and his brothers, Charles Bennie Evick (Mary Alice), Ernest Cody Evick (Helen) of Franklin, WV and Richard Franklin Evick (Julia) of Harrisonburg, VA..
