We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2024, at the age of 86, Bernard Mergen (Franklin, West Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Andrew and Alexandra; his pet Sassy; and his parents, Katharine Norrid Mergen and Bernard M. Mergen, III.
In lieu of flowers and cards, he requested his friends adopt an abused animal, pick up trash along a road or riverbank, or give a homeless person $50.
