He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddeus Elwin Bailey and Lilly L. Bailey Weese (Paynter). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sue Porterfield Bailey; his siblings, Kathy Lynn Sampson (Vance) of Lewisburg and David Bailey (Dawn) of Statesville, NC; his stepbrother Kelis Ray Weese (Corine) of Los Angeles, California.; and his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Porterfield (Jean) and Patty Byer (Roger) of Covington, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
