He is survived by: his son Danny Ray Rood Jr. (Leslie) of Frankford, WV; his grandchildren, Jimmy Don Rood (Brandy) of Lewisburg, WV, Ellie May Rood (Ekadasi) of Frankford, WV, Kristin Smith of Oregon and Joshua Mancini of North Carolina; and his siblings, Larry Rood of California, Johnnie Rood (Karen) of California, Bobby Rood of Missouri and Helen Tenpenny of California. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
