He is survived by: his wife Janet Campbell Sampson; his sons, Stephen Edward Sampson (Lisa Marie) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Keith Russell Sampson (Lisa Ann) of Estonia; his daughter-in-law Jessica Sampson of Danville, IL; his siblings, James Sampson (Faith) of Arkansas, Carol Dean (Larry) of Lewisburg, WV and Hettie Hancock of Virginia; his grandchildren, Christopher, Daryl, Jeremy, Alexander, Sean, Candice, Phillip Sampson and Corissa Sampson Hunt; and his great grandchildren, Lennox and Wallas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
