Bernice E. Johnston Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice E. Johnston of Frankford, West Virginia, born in Renick, West Virginia, who passed away on August 11, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmer Underwood and Mary North Underwood; her siblings, Ethel Sipe, Lula Starrett, Eula Sharp and Charles Underwood; her son Richard Dale Johnston; and her grandson Douglas Wayne Johnston.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mildred Sharp (Don) of Berkeley Springs, WV and Norma Burke of Bullhead City, AZ; her children, David Johnston (Juanita) of Renick, WV, Michael Johnston of Maxwelton, WV and Carolyn Stringer (Michael) of Southport, NC; and her grandchildren, Jessica Tatko (John), Stephanie Aouidat (Fattah), Emily Johnston, Rachel Johnston, Stacy Johnston and Nathaniel Johnston. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren.
