Treva Mitchell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Treva Mitchell of Frametown, West Virginia, who passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Van Buren Jarvis and Irene Stalnaker Jarvis; her husband James Mitchell; her daughter Carol Claar; her grandson Stevie Claar; and her sisters, Anna Lee Carr and Marie Carr.
She is survived by: her sons, Lennie Shepherd (Wendy) of Atwater and James Mitchell Jr. of Frametown; her grandchildren, Kenneth Shepherd (Tammy), Lennie Shepherd, Robert Shepherd, Shania Claar and Jacob Cole Mitchell; and her siblings, Virlen "Jink" Jarvis of Ravenna, Van "Gabby" Jarvis of LaGrange, Ohio and Betty Lovings of North Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made to Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway, WV 26624 to assist with funeral expenses.
