It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elsie June Buchanan of Frametown, West Virginia, who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Scott Nicholas and Cotha Carr Nicholas; her daughter Suzanna LaJane Wilmoth; and her siblings, Charles Nicholas and Anna Grace Gooch.
She is survived by: her husband James R. Buchanan; her children, James R. "Buck" Buchanan, Jr. (Kim) of Ripley, Crystal A. Caplinger of South Charleston, WV, Janice R. Moles (David) of Culloden, WV and Carol R. Withrow (Lee) of Poca; and her siblings, Orville Lee Nicholas (Nora) of Cortland, OH, Austin Glen Nicholas of Frametown and Mary Allen (Ron) of Concord, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 13 (plus one expected) great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations in her name be made to Hubbard Hospice House West, 4605 MacCorkle Ave. SW, South Charleston, WV 25309.
