We bid farewell to Alma Lea Duffield of Frametown, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 28, 2024 at the age of 89. Alma Lea touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Nicholas and Sarah Friend Nicholas; her husband Curtis Duffield; her stepsons, Denvil Duffield and Randy Miller; and her siblings, Ernest Nicholas, Faye Tucker, Ida Stout, Wilsie Cottrill, Alice Sawyers, Mary Duckworth and Betty Clowser.
She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Yarbrough (Jimmy); her stepchildren, Marta McCullough (Sam) and Jeff Friend; her brother Charles Nicholas; her grandchildren, Brian Facemire (Christie), Carl Mote III (Jennifer), Jolee McIlwain (Bo) and Tammy Casselman (Wesley); and her siblings-in-law, Helen Hacker and Carl Ray Duffield. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; 12 great- great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Roach Funeral Home (708 Braxton St, Gassaway, WV 26624). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at the same location.
