It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judson Brady Duty of Foster, West Virginia, who passed away on November 28, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Obid Brady and Dora Alice Duty; his brother William H.; his sister-in-law Gladys Duty; and his parents-in-law, Sam and Sylvia Lane.
He is survived by: his spouse Shelvey Duty of Foster, WV; his siblings, Wanda Ballard (Bob), Janice Umberger (Ernie) and John Duty (Barbara); his brother-in-law Roger Lane (Anna); his children, Cindy Steele (John), Doug Duty (Kim) and Jinnie Knight; his grandchildren, Heather Elkins (Shann), Heidi Steele (Daniel Reedy), Holly Corder (Scott), Bradi Jo, Katie Duty, Cameron and Alli Knight; and his great grandchildren, Caroline, Cade, Cole, Camden Elkins, Jaren, Jakayla Gater, Braxton, Landon Elkins, Mason McGhee, Mazi Duty, Wyatt, Chloe Reedy and Peyton Brown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
For the last 9 months, he worked diligently to keep his wife safe from Covid-19, and due to these concerns, there will be a private graveside service for family only.
