He was predeceased by: his parents, Burns Cox and Bernice Estep Cox; his grandparents, George, Celina Cox, Ed and Rosie Estep; his daughter Allison Denise Cox; his siblings, Ronnie, Jeffrey Cox, Mary Helen and Patricia Cox; and his parents-in-law, Dennis and Lucille Hall Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Dolores Cox; his children, Amy Dean (Lee), Angela Lambert (Jeremy) and Michael Cox (Michelle); his sisters, Susan Hardin (Harmon) and Rhonda Hatfield (Rick); his grandchildren, William Dean (Jade Sheppard), Nathanael Dean (Kristina Music), Allison Tilley (Zach), Jeffrey Cox, Brookelyn and Connor Lambert; and his great grandchildren, Hunter and Paisley Tilley.
