He was predeceased by: his parents, Page Bender and Annie Bender (Bell); his siblings, Ronald, Don, Bob, Kermit, Max, Curtis, Cecil, Edwin, Page Jr., Louise and Lydia; his brothers-in-law, Oscar Boling and Bob Boling; and his parents-in-law, Eugene and Ernestine Boling.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Aaron Bender, Justin Bender (Allison), Zach Sansom (Alexis), Andy Sansom (Jessica), Lacey Cornell (Nick), Kenton Sansom, Payson Sansom, Kain Sansom, Emmett Sansom, Gabe Cornell and Braylea Cornell; his brother Vernon Bender (Donna); his sisters-in-law, Diana Bender, Billie Bender and Sherry Bender; and his children, Donna Bender (Vernon), Sharon Kay Prichard (Paul), Mary Williamson (Kenny), John Boling (Tami), Rhonda Boling and Butch Boling. He is also survived by his kids and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home, Inc. (220 Main St, Chapmanville, WV 25508). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
