It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Noah Benton Peters Jr. (Fort Gay, West Virginia), who passed away on December 16, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah B. Peters, Sr. and Sophia Beatrice Philpott; his brothers, Russell Eugene (Gene) and Clarence Jackson (Jack); his siblings-in-law, Ben Johnson, Donald Artrip, Larna (Jack), Anne (Gene), Emma Lou (James), Mary (Jarrett), Charlene (Ben) and Costella (Donald); and his nephew John Douglas Peters.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Joy and Kerry Mitchell; his son-in-law Dennis Bowman; his grandson Trent; his wife Monica Ray; his daughters, Ashley, Morgan, Michelle and Mallory; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Audrey, Theo, Beau and Bentley; and his brothers, James and Jarrett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Peters Chapel (23853 US-52, Fort Gay, WV 25514). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at the Peters Chapel Cemetery (25853 US-52, Fort Gay, WV 25514).
