He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Dingess and Vicy Watts Dingess; and his brothers, Herman Dingess, Bernard Dingess and Anthony Dingess.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Robertson Dingess; his children, Hazel Collie (Larry) of Fort Gay, WV, Melissa Gayheart (Bobby) of Fort Gay, WV, Matthew Dingess (Lisa) of Fort Gay, WV and Luke Dingess of Fort Gay, WV; his siblings, Kathy Dingess of Louisa, KY, Janice Dingess of Louisa, KY, Eddie Dingess (Linda) of Fort Gay, WV and Donald Dingess (Tammy) of Thomasville, NC; his grandchildren, Bethany, Jacob, Hannah, Landon, Khloe, Haylee and Johnathan; his great grandchildren, Riley, Oliver, Sullivan, Magnolia, Bryson, Caleb and Sawyer; and his close friend Jimmy Kitts.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570).
