She was predeceased by: her parent Lewis Thompson; her husbands, John E. Hayes and Emmanuel Marcum; her sister Ezra "Buddy" Thompson; and also, Lewis Thompson, Jr., Shannon Thompson and Valcie Thompson.
She is survived by: her parent Telia Thompson; her children, Barbara Laney (David) of Walworth, N. Y., Johnny Allen Hayes (June) of Crum, W. V and Nina A. Stacy (Elmer) of Ft; her grandchildren, Lori A. Laney, Sylvia Hayes, Cynthia Bowen (Jesse), Bethany Stacy (Travis Shortridge), Vanessa Wolfe (Matt), James A. Hayes, Keisha Gillespie (Michael), Sabrina Jude, Jaimalynn Marcum, Connor Marcum, Tiffani Brewster and Destini Brewster; her great grandchildren, Kailee Bowen, Victoria Gillespie, Kaleb Gillespie, Riley Shortridge and Dakota Shortridge; and her close friends, Debbie Stroud and Carolyn Waller.
