Judy Carol Doss Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Carol Doss of Fort Gay, West Virginia, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Ratcliffe and Ruth Ratcliffe (Williamson); her husband Richard "Dickie" Doss; her sons, Richard Jay Doss, Jr. and Timothy Darrell Doss; and her siblings, Kennith Ratcliffe, Gary Ratcliffe, Larry Joe Ratcliffe and Sonja Stover.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Doss (Danielle) and Jeremy Doss (Morgan); her daughters-in-law, SueAn Doss (Timothy) and Jessica Doss (Richard); and her siblings, Michael Ratcliffe (Theresa), Dave Ratcliffe (Vickie) and Jean Napier. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Oak Grove Church (3747 Paddle Creek, Fort Gay, WV 25514). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at the Doss Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given directly to the family to help offset expenses.
