He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ford Hurley Sr. and Helen Hurley (Stacy); and his brother Jerry Paul Hurley. He is survived by: his children, Opal "Sissy" Hurley of Hurley, VA, Gabriel Hurley (Patricia) of Hurley, VA and Issiah Hurley of Fort Gay, WV; his grandchildren, Rena Blankenship, NeVaeh Hurley, Cian Hurley and Laithan Hurley; and his siblings, Jack Hurley, Clinton Hurley, Eddie Hurley, Mary Hurley Dancy, Lena Jackson, Jenny May and Kathy Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Grundy Funeral Home (22208 Riverside Dr, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Hurley Family Cemetery.
