It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Lloyd Sturgell of Fort Gay, West Virginia, who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Okey Sturgell and Louise Salmons Sturgell; and his siblings, Phoebe Copley, Betty Jo Smith, Virginia Helms, Roberta Maynard, Alberta Maynard, Okey Lee Sturgell, Joe Sturgell, Albert Sturgell, Gary David Sturgell and James Sturgill.
He is survived by: his children, Harold David Sturgell (Tara Sturgell) of Wayne, WV and Rachel Dorene Moore (Benny B. Moore II) of Wayne, WV; his grandchildren, Hailey Dawn Sturgell, Logan Moore, Landon Moore, Macey Moore of Wayne, WV and Maddie Sturgell of Georgetown, KY.; and his brothers, Sherman Sturgell of Delbarton, WV, Jennings Sturgell (Ollie) of Ft. Gay, WV, Charles Sturgell of Crum, WV and Ivan Sturgell (Sharon) of Mansfield, OH..
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV.
