He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Stroud and Perva Stroud (Marcum) of Dunlow, WV. He is survived by: his sister Jean; his brother-in-law Jerry Stamper; his brother Roy; his sister-in-law Faye Stroud; his siblings, Maxie Finnegan and Claude; his siblings-in-law, Donna Stroud, Tom Jarrell and Bill Gates; his parents-in-law, Earl and Roberta Crum; his wife Darlene Stroud of Fort Gay, WV; his siblings, Wilkie Jarrell of Logan, OH, Sharon Gates of Huntington, WV and Gary (Debra); his children, Sherie Marcum (Tom) of Huntington, WV, Steve Stroud (Shaunna) of Fort Gay, WV. and Rodney Stroud (Angela) of Fort Gay, WV.; and his grandchildren, Heath Stroud, Jared Stroud, Kayla Stroud, Tyler Stroud, Dylan Stroud, Taylor Ball, Evan Ball, Eric Nease, Chance Stroud, Takoda Stroud, James Marcum, Johnathan Marcum, Jason Marcum, Jeffery Marcum and Ashley Marcum. He is also survived by 28 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild with a host of Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (1270 KY-2565, Louisa, KY 41230). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
