It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Joe Evans of Fort Gay, West Virginia, born in Camp Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on April 4, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Blackburn and Ermengarde Blackburn (Copley); her husband Clyde Evans; her children, Barbara McGinnis and Brian Keith Evans; and her grandson Scott Peters.
She is survived by: her siblings, Edith Earlene Evans of Louisa, KY, Charles Blackburn of Somerset, OH and Nellie Ferguson of Huntington, WV; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Paul David, Jon, Matthew and Steven (Kayle); and her great grandchildren, Kaleb, Jordan, Mason, Jasper, Gabriel, Carson and Nathan.
