With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Daniel Wagoner (Fort Ashby, West Virginia), who passed away on January 19, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his close friend George Montgomery; and his siblings, Dorothy Wagoner, Reba W. Roach, Josephine W. Pownall, Ruth Maxine Mahood, Mary Susan W. Williams, C. Jackson "Jack" Wagoner and E. Alec Wagoner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Hannah W. Sincell and Loy A. Wagoner (W. Va); and his foster sister Martha H. McLaughlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
He taught at FSU until he was in his ninth decade of life, but was finally forced to retire because of a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease.
