He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Conway Kessel and Alta Leona Kessel; and his siblings, Olen A. Kessel and Juanita Combs. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Sanders of South Carolina and Linda Anderson of Capon Bridge; and his sisters, Verda Grapes of Romney and Armelda Barb of Moorefield. He is also survived by four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
