Floyd Alton Whorton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2020, at the age of 69, Floyd Alton Whorton (Fort Ashby, West Virginia), born in Flintstone, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd H. Whorton and Fannie Pearl Mayo (Calhoun); and his sisters, Sharon Brimhall, Beulah Boyd, Gladys Whorton and Melva Spencer.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Whorton; his daughter Pamela Whorton (Alan Webb); his grandchildren, Megan Webb (Matthew Arnold), Floyd Webb and Bruce Webb; his great grandchildren, Bryce, Cameron, Madelyn, Zander, Audrielynn and Bethany; and his sister-in-law Caroline Morris. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Fort Ashby Lions Club, Post Office Box #167, Fort Ashby, WV 26719.
