William John Schaefer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William John Schaefer of Follansbee, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 19, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Schaefer and Agatha I. Schaefer (Fitzgerald); and his son William M. Schaefer (Laurel). He is survived by: his wife Teresa Schaefer (Koch); and his children, Erich E. Schaefer (Laura), Kurt A. Schaefer, Karl J. Schaefer (Karra), Lincoln J. Schaefer (Sarah) and Adelle M. Schaefer, MD. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the James Funeral Home (1245 Main St, Follansbee, WV 26037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
